{"id":17,"date":"2022-12-05T02:24:58","date_gmt":"2022-12-05T02:24:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/v2.technostructures.org\/?page_id=17"},"modified":"2025-07-08T13:41:58","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T13:41:58","slug":"presentation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/technostructures.org\/en\/","title":{"rendered":"Pr\u00e9sentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Technostructures is a non-profit organization aiming to foster an ecosystem of software:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>which does not participate in the consolidation of technology as a tool of capitalist power over the workplace, or as a tool to augment the productivity of work along with the degree to which it is alienating,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/technostructures.org\/en\/fronts\/technologie-that-empowers\/\" data-type=\"page\">whose conception is free from the influence of capitalism on technical systems<\/a> : tools are not conditioned to the industrial environment, or to its imperatives of profitability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"le-code-est-politique\">Code is political<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every app we use <strong>normalizes<\/strong> our interactions. Behind all the code, humans have decided that sometimes, \"computer says no\", a common formula in business and administrative contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is to be done?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At Technostructures, we try to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>curate software with a political approach, by design or in support of political use cases, edit and publish lists of the best software (in a similar vein to \"awesome lists\" found online);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>assist in obtaining public funding for projects whose political positioning makes them more difficult to finance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and finally, produce software which doesn't exist yet, but <em>should<\/em>, while paying the people who make it happen decently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Imago<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our main technical project, Imago exists to help groups federate and organize collectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is made up of several phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/technostructures.org\/en\/projects\/posca\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"388\">Posca<\/a>, the \"communications\" part;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Topos, the organization functions themselves (decision support, resource management, etc.);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And finally the \"<a href=\"https:\/\/technostructures.org\/en\/projects\/imago\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"118\">Imago network<\/a>\", networking collectives through a knowledge graph.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Technostructures est une association qui a pour but de faire advenir un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me de logiciels : Le code est politique Chaque app que l\u2019on utilise norme nos interactions.
